One Secret Service agent received six stitches after being bitten by a dog. Subsequently, the dog was kicked out of the White House last October. Joe Biden's dog Commander was involved in at least 24 bite incidents in 12 months. This was reported by The Telegraph.

Because of this, the two-year-old German shepherd was evicted from the president's residence in October of last year.

One of the incidents is known to have occurred at the president's beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. A tailed deer bit a Secret Service agent while walking in the backyard.

The bite caused a serious open wound, the man lost a significant amount of blood and needed six stitches. More than ten other incidents also required medical attention.

It is known that Commander arrived at the White House as a puppy in 2021. It was presented by Biden's younger brother, James. He became the second dog in the presidential family to be kicked out of the home after Major, another German shepherd the Bidens adopted from an animal shelter in 2018. Eventually the dog was sent to live with friends in Delaware.
