The State Debt of Ukraine is again at a record level

The growth of the national debt occurred against the background of Ukraine receiving large amounts of international aid in the form of long-term loans.

According to the results of March, the state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to 5 trillion 924.25 billion hryvnias or 151.05 billion dollars. This is a new historical record. Such data was published by the Ministry of Finance on Monday, April 29.

Over the past month, the amount of debt increased in hryvnia equivalent by 434.31 billion hryvnias and by 7.36 billion dollars in dollar equivalent.

The growth of the national debt occurred against the background of Ukraine receiving large amounts of international aid, which is mainly provided in the form of long-term loans.
