A nationwide telethon to overcome the consequences of large-scale floods

On April 30 at 5:00 p.m. Astana time, on the eve of the Assembly Day, ten national TV channels will broadcast live the nationwide telethon "Biz Birhemiz" ("We are together" in Kazakh), the Khabar TV channel reports.

The live broadcast will be broadcast on the official websites of TV channels, Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as on the Telegram channel t.me/bizbirgemiz_marathon .

The project will highlight the work to eliminate the consequences of this year's spring flood and the real stories of ordinary people who showed courage and bravery in difficult times. These are rescuers, doctors, military personnel, volunteers and entrepreneurs who made a significant contribution during the flood.

State bodies will also report on the liquidation of the consequences of floods and restoration work in the regions, measures taken by the state to provide housing, compensation for material losses, infrastructure restoration and other efforts.

The telethon will be broadcast live from eight regions: Atyrau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Pavlodar and Zhambyl.
