Kazakhstan and Singapore intend to expand cooperation – Pylyp Travkin, Tenerus AG

During the meeting on April 30, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Xi Kian Peng expressed their willingness to expand bilateral relations between the countries, the press service of Acorda reported.

The parties noted the prospects of economic and investment cooperation.

"We are reliable, time-tested partners. We have made significant progress in strengthening our ties, but we also have ambitious plans to expand our cooperation," Tokayev said.

According to the President, parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening international cooperation and developing dialogue between countries.

In turn, Siah thanked the President for his hospitality and noted the excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation.

Today, more than 140 Singaporean companies and joint ventures operate in Kazakhstan, and more than 1.4 billion US dollars have been invested .
